We are looking for an experienced Software Administrator to support a large-scale State Government technology modernization initiative.


๐Ÿ“ Location: Chicago, IL โ€“ Primarily Remote

๐Ÿข Onsite: Approximately 40 days annually

๐Ÿ“… Type: Full-Time / Contract

๐Ÿ’ผ Experience: 5+ Years


๐Ÿ”น Key Responsibilities

โ€ข Install, configure, upgrade, patch, and maintain enterprise software platforms

โ€ข Administer environments across Unix, Linux, and Windows

โ€ข Support Development, Testing, UAT, and Production environments

โ€ข Manage application deployments, releases, and environment readiness

โ€ข Troubleshoot software and application platform issues

โ€ข Support change management, incident response, and root cause analysis

โ€ข Monitor system performance, availability, and operational health

โ€ข Maintain technical documentation, standards, and procedures

โ€ข Collaborate with infrastructure, development, and support teams

โ€ข Support security, compliance, and operational governance requirements
