Our company is currently seeking ​a Full Time Bookkeeper/Tax Preparer to join our firm! You will be responsible for preparing and examining financial records and preparation of individual and business tax returns.

Responsibilities:

  • Obtain primary financial data for accounting records
  • Record and reconcile asset, liability and income statement accounts
  • Preparation of payroll and related reports
  • Check the accuracy of business transactions
  • Perform data entry and administrative duties
  • Prepare quarterly and annual reports
  • Review data on reports and detect possible errors
  • Ensure compliance with government tax rules

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in accounting, finance, or other related fields
  • Fundamental knowledge of GAAP
  • Previous experience with QuickBooks/QuickBooks Online
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Strong organizational skills
