Job description

Description

Element Systems – Denver, CO (Front Range + Multi-State Projects)

Element Systems is hiring a Commercial Roofing Service Technician! We’re a fast-growing commercial roofing and building-envelope contractor working across Colorado and multiple states. You’ll diagnose leaks, perform repairs, work with commercial roof systems (TPO, EPDM, PVC, mod-bit, metal), and handle architectural sheet metal, ACM/MCM wall panels, and steep-slope products. We value craftsmanship, professionalism, and people who take pride in their work. Leadership experience or running crews is a plus (not required). Travel availability is a bonus. Candidates must have a valid driver’s license, be able to access government properties, and be eligible for security clearances (we help with that). We offer competitive pay, benefits, training, certifications, advancement opportunities, and a strong culture built on accountability and high standards. If you want to join a company where you can build a real career—not just punch a clock—apply today.

Element Systems is a fast-growing commercial roofing and building-envelope contractor. We don’t do average work, and we don’t hire average people. We’re looking for a Commercial Roofing Service Technician who knows their craft, shows up ready to problem-solve, and takes pride in doing things the right way the first time.

If you’re the type who can diagnose a leak without doing a 34-point rain dance, keep reading.

Who We Are & Why You’ll Want to Work Here

Element Systems isn’t another “truck and a ladder” roofing outfit. We’re a rapidly expanding commercial roofing and building envelope company operating across multiple states, with major clients in private, public, and government sectors.

What sets us apart?

• We invest in our people. Training, certifications, safety, equipment, and real career paths — not lip service.

• We do high-level, meaningful work. Government, multi-family, commercial, architectural sheet metal, complex repairs — the stuff most companies can’t do.

• We’re growing fast, and opportunity grows with us. Want to lead? Want to run projects? Want to move into supervision? It’s all on the table for top performers.

• We pay for results and craftsmanship. If you’re good at what you do, you’ll feel valued — financially and professionally.

• We run a strong, organized operation. No chaos, no guessing, no “we’ll figure it out on the roof.” We document everything, communicate clearly, and deliver top-tier work.

• We maintain a culture of accountability and pride. We do uncommon work, and we hire uncommon people.

If you want a place where you can build a career — not just punch a clock — you’ll fit right in.

What You’ll Do

You’ll be responsible for:

Roofing & Leak Investigation

• Diagnose and repair commercial roof systems: TPO, EPDM, PVC, mod-bit, BUR, coatings, metal, etc.

• Perform detailed leak investigations using photos, moisture detection, and methodical troubleshooting.

• Execute corrective repairs that actually solve problems, not temporary patches.

Sheet Metal & Architectural Systems

• Install, repair, and maintain commercial sheet metal systems:

• Coping, edge metal, gutters/downspouts, scuppers

• Standing seam and exposed-fastener metal roofs

• Work with ACM/MCM panels, metal wall panels, soffits, and architectural cladding.

• Read and interpret shop drawings and perform accurate field measurements.

Customer Interaction & Documentation

• Communicate findings clearly with customers and our PM team.

• Document all work via CompanyCam (photos, notes, diagrams).

• Provide recommendations for long-term maintenance and repairs.

Safety & Quality

• Follow OSHA guidelines and company safety protocols.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized jobsite.

• Represent Element Systems with professionalism and pride.

• You are responsible for dressing appropriately each day (clean attire, preferably company shirts, PPE, etc.) as you are customer facing and are a direct extension of the company.

What We’re Looking For

• 3–5+ years commercial roofing experience, preferably in service.

• Proficiency in at least two major commercial roof systems; willingness to learn the rest.

• Sheet metal experience required, including metal roofing and architectural wall systems.

• Knowledge of steep-slope roofing systems (shingles, tile, stone-coated steel, synthetic, metal shingles) is preferred.

• Strong troubleshooting skills and independence in the field.

• Comfortable using a smartphone/tablet for documentation.

• Valid driver’s license required.

• Ability to access government properties (no disqualifying criminal/driving history).

• Eligibility for security clearances — we assist with this process as many of our projects require it.

• Ability to travel for certain projects (occasional, but a plus).

• Ability to lift 50–80 lbs, climb ladders, and work at elevation.

Leadership Experience (Not Required, but a Big Plus)

• Experience running service crews, managing small projects, or leading field tasks is considered a strong advantage.

• This is not a foreman role, but leadership experience accelerates advancement within Element Systems.

Nice to Have

• Experience with ACM/MCM systems (Alucobond, Reynobond, etc.).

• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30.

• Experience driving a service truck.

• Bilingual (English/Spanish).

What We Offer

• Competitive pay (based on experience and performance).

• Health, dental, and vision benefits.

• Company vehicle or vehicle allowance (role-dependent).

• Paid training and professional certifications.

• Clear, realistic advancement path to Lead Tech, Superintendent, or Project Manager.

• A high-performance culture built on accountability, craftsmanship, and uncommon standards.

Who Thrives Here

People who:

• Take pride in craftsmanship.

• Don’t need babysitting.

• Want to grow with a company, not disappear into the landscape.

• Communicate like adults.

• Show up prepared and finish strong.
