The Team
Our Litigation Practice Group is recognized as one of the leading teams in Canada. In order to meet the demand for our services, we are seeking a paralegal with relevant experience to join our Montreal office group.
The Role
Coordinate and carry out the various steps related to the eDiscovery process in litigation matters (identification, collection and organization of electronic data, review, processing, and production of electronic evidence);
Conduct and manage document reviews within specialized databases;
Provide training and support to interns, junior lawyers, and clients;
Participate in team meetings.
Required Skills and Experience
Relevant experience in a similar position;
In-depth knowledge of specialized document review software;
Ability to analyze and organize documents with meticulousness and rigour;
Ability to work well in a team, in collaboration with lawyers, peers and support staff;
Ability to work independently as well as within a team;
Strong interpersonal and business acumen and the ability to develop excellent relations with clients;
Ability to communicate professionally and courteously;
Ability to carry out high quality work, when sometimes facing tight deadlines;
Ability to prioritize and reprioritize as needed and ability to manage stress professionally;
Excellent proficiency in English and French (spoken and written);
Diploma of College Studies in Paralegal Technology or university education.
