ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Develop comprehensive estimates of materiel costs for defense manufacturing programs.
  • Support capture teams by developing estimates for manufacturing, management and modernization proposals.
  • Develop parametric estimates of material, labor, time and equipment costs for ammunition manufacturing programs and facility management.
  • Support the development and maturation of ARM’s cost management tools and processes.
  • Through participation in capture and proposal teams, support development of compliant and winning proposals.
  • Ensure cost estimating activities adhere to all agreed-upon processes and operating procedures.
  • Perform other duties as directed.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (as demonstrated through experience, training and/or testing)
  • Knowledge of the U.S. DoD processes and procedures for development and procurement.
  • Detailed knowledge of Military Standards and Regulations (FAR and DFARS).
  • Advanced Excel knowledge and skill with intermediate knowledge of and skill with other MS Office applications
  • Knowledge of program management tools such as Earned Value Management and MS Project.
  • Ability to present technical / commercial / contractual solutions to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in a variety of settings and to easily assimilate complex instructions.
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of management and staff to establish productive relationships.
  • Ability to explain complex concepts in a way that makes sense to someone less knowledgeable about the topic.
  • Ability to engage enthusiastically with and support overseas colleagues to ensure involved team members have the information they require to perform their roles.
  • Ability to exhibit tact and diplomacy, and to work with integrity, honesty, and respect for others.
  • Exceptional listening and analytical skills to understand client concerns and needs and to respond promptly and effectively to those needs.
