Job description

**PENDING CONTRACT AWARD**

Description:

The Program Manager will support the Air Force Air Logistics Complex’s (ALC) located at Tinker AFB, Hill AFB and Robins AFB supply chain management efforts. This role involves building and managing a team of supply chain experts that will be located at the supported sites, coordinating between various organizations, and developing solutions to parts availability issues. The Program Manager will also be responsible for delivering analysis, reports, and briefings to leadership, while ensuring effective cooperation and communication among stakeholders.

What you will be responsible for:

  • Build, manage, and train a highly effective team of supply chain experts.
  • Manage the supply chain and mitigate parts-related risks/issues.
  • Serve as the key liaison with the customer.
  • Develop and advocate for solutions to parts availability issues.
  • Develop strategies to support customer initiatives in materiel planning and logistics.
  • Monitor DLA impact on fleet-wide weapon system readiness and analyze provisioning related degraders.
  • All other duties as assigned.

What you will need to be successful in this role:
Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from four-year college or university; or eight years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 12 years of professional experience in supply chain/distribution
  • Seven (7) or more years' experience in a supervisor role.
  • Ability to obtain a government CAC and a Secret Security Clearance (as required).

Preferred:

  • Strong collaborative, communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft productivity suites
  • 5 years' experience working for DLA and/or working directly supporting a USG Repair Depot
  • Excellent relationship/interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work with incomplete information and ambiguity
  • Industry knowledge of Aerospace & Defense supply chains.
