As a Security Officer Driving Role Patrol Unit in Jacksonville, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and/or emergency response support at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and reporting concerns through appropriate channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, roadways, parking areas, restricted zones, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity and/or security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, visitor activity, and authorized personnel movement in accordance with post orders and government location protocols.
• Assist with traffic and pedestrian flow, observe for policy violations, and communicate with supervisors, staff, and/or public visitors regarding security-related matters.

Minimum Requirements:

• A TSA-issued TWIC is required.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
