Title: Director, Government Relations

Position Summary

The Director, Government Relations serves as Everfox's advocate to federal stakeholders, driving legislative and regulatory outcomes that support the company's mission. The role expands Everfox's visibility across Capitol Hill, the Pentagon, and key agencies while advancing priority policies and programs.

This position requires strong government relationships, deep policy expertise, and the ability to clearly communicate Everfox's cybersecurity and missiontechnology value to senior decision makers.

Key Responsibilities

Federal Government Relations & Advocacy

Drive Everfox's engagement with Congress, DoW, the Intelligence Community, and civilian agencies, building influential relationships that support defense, intelligence, cyber, and emergingtechnology priorities. Drive advocacy for Everfox's core programs, track legislative and regulatory developments, and provide actionable policy insights to senior leadership. Produce clear, effective briefing materials, testimonies, and advocacy content.

Strategic Engagement & Awareness Building

Strengthen Everfox's standing among policymakers, nationalsecurity influencers, think tanks, and industry groups. Execute strategies that elevate Everfox's capabilities across DoW directorates, innovation organizations, and congressional technology leaders. Coordinate highimpact engagements including Hill days, Pentagon briefings, classified sessions, and technology demonstrations. Represent Everfox in key partnerships and policy forums.

Legislative & Policy Strategy

Develop integrated legislative strategies aligned to Everfox's business priorities. Provide leadership with timely analysis of emerging legislation, budget cycles, committee activities, and missiontechnology trends. Partner across Legal, Product, Marketing, Engineering, Sales, and Capture teams to ensure policy alignment with program pursuits, including support for relevant RDT&E, procurement, and O&M activities.

External Stakeholders & Partnerships

Cultivate relationships with industry associations, cybersecurity organizations, and missiontechnology coalitions. Manage external consultants and lobbying partners to ensure aligned strategy and measurable impact. Provide governmentdriven insight to product teams based on requirements, mission gaps, and evolving policies.

Communications & Messaging Support

Collaborate with Corporate Communications and Marketing to maintain consistent external messaging. Draft talking points, executive briefs, congressional summaries, and policyfocused materials. Support crisiscommunications needs tied to legislative, regulatory, or oversight developments.

Qualifications:

10+ years in government relations, defense policy, or nationalsecurity advocacy
Strong familiarity with defense, homeland security, intelligence, and appropriations committees
Experience navigating DoW structures, acquisition processes, and seniorlevel Pentagon engagement
Knowledge of cybersecurity, insider risk, mission data, and nationalsecurity technologies
Exceptional communication skills, including briefing senior officials
Regular travel to Washington, DC, federal agencies, and nationalsecurity events
Existing federal relationships preferred; clearance eligibility strongly preferred

A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is:

$220,600.00-293,400.00 USD

The actual salary offered may vary within the range based on a candidates' unique experience, locale, and business needs. In addition to a base salary and bonus plans, Everfox offers a generous benefits package including flexible PTO, a 401k match, and contribution to healthcare coverages.
