Job description

Enterprise Technology Services (ETEK) is looking for a Design/Production Assistant to join our Creative Services group supporting the U.S. Mint. This position will support our creative team with building print and digital media.


Responsibilities:


  • Play a key role on the creative services team contributing to data management, workflow, and knowledge management efforts

  • Create and maintain a file naming convention, file architecture, and other data management tasks

  • Create and design various materials for print and digital collateral using Adobe Creative Suite

  • Ensure projects are completed with high quality and on schedule

  • Prioritize and manage multiple projects within design specifications

  • Work with a wide range of digital media and use graphic design software

  • Operate large-format printers and digital print production equipment

Qualifications:


  • Background in graphic arts, design, communications, or related field

  • 2 - 4 years of experience in graphic design or digital media

  • Demonstrated proficiency with SharePoint-based applications and technologies, including but not limited to, Forms, Planner, and Bookings

  • Knowledge of design fundamentals, typography, print, and web

  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Excellent eye for detail

  • Must possess excellent project management skills, communication skills, and a strong work ethic

  • Ability to work on a team and communicate effectively and professionally verbally and in writing

  • Ability to multitask and work on a variety of projects at once, switching between them as necessary

  • Willingness to learn skillsets not currently possessed
