Job description

  • Raw Materials Procurement: Managing raw material orders based on consumption, liaising with suppliers, monitoring deliveries, scheduling arrivals, updating restock parameters in the ERP system (SAP), and managing stock and inventory. Direct interaction with the Italian Procurement Department for scouting and the adoption of corporate best practices. The role also involves searching for local suppliers or alternative supply options in compliance with Cimpress and Pixartprinting policies and objectives.
  • Inbound and Outbound Logistics: Managing inbound raw material processes in collaboration with the warehouse, ensuring physical and accounting reconciliation in SAP. Coordinating with couriers to schedule shipments, managing system issues, and interfacing with customer service. He/she will also act as a local support point for specific import-related missions.
  • Indirect Purchasing: Managing the purchase of products and services for the facility, collecting or entering purchase requests in SAP, selecting suppliers, approving expenses, and overseeing final receipt processes.
  • Quality Support: Facilitates effective collaboration between Quality department, Warehouse, and suppliers in managing non-conformities. Supports the validation process of new materials by coordinating sample deliveries and organizing relevant documentation and information flow.
  • Production Planning: analyzing production and planning processes and interacting with production departments to ensure compliance with production schedules and to promptly solve problems; performing analyses to identify improvement and/or preventive actions and drafting performance reports and monitoring process KPIs
Requirements:

The candidate preferably has a degree inIndustrial Engineering or a Master of Science (MS) in Supply Chain Managementand has at least3 years of experiencein material planning or procurement within medium to large organizations. In addition, they have knowledge ofSAP or an equivalent ERP system.Previous experience in the paper, packaging, or printing industry will be considered a plus.
