Job Overview
This role supports organizational growth by identifying and creating new business opportunities within the government segment through outbound prospecting. It involves generating and managing a pipeline of potential customers to support the sales team's efforts. The role differentiates itself by focusing on cold outreach and lead qualification within a specialized market segment. Success is measured by the quality and quantity of leads generated and the effectiveness of lead qualification and appointment setting. Job Responsibilities:
  • Conduct cold outbound prospecting via phone, email, and social media to generate new business leads within the government segment
  • Manage and cleanse data in the customer relationship management system to maintain accurate records of prospecting activities
  • Communicate with prospects to understand their needs and build interest in the organization's solutions
  • Follow established lead management and qualification processes to ensure consistent lead handling and appointment setting
  • Provide feedback to marketing on lead quality, processes, and performance to support continuous improvement
  • Qualify leads and set appointments to facilitate the sales team's engagement with potential customers
  • Also responsible for other duties/projects as assigned by business management as needed

Education and Work Experience:
  • High School Diploma/GED (Required)
  • Less than 2 years Call center/sales experience (Preferred)
