ABOUT GOTHAM FC:NJ/NY Gotham FC ("Gotham FC" or "the Club") is a National Women's Soccer League ("NWSL") team representing New Jersey and New York. The team currently plays at Sports Illustrated Stadium in Harrison, NJ, but will be moving to Etihad Park in Queens, NY beginning with the 2028 season. Gotham FC doesn't just play soccer; they set trends, challenge the status quo, and lead with bold creativity. Position Overview: Account Executive, New Stadium Sales (Gotham FC)
Elevate is supporting Gotham FC in leading the new stadium ticket sales strategy and execution as the club transitions to Etihad Park beginning with the 2028 season. The Account Executive, New Stadium Sales position is responsible for generating new business revenue through the sale of full season memberships and premium seating for Gotham FC. This position is ideal for high performing sales professionals with a proven track record of selling to individuals and corporate decision makers. This role will sell at a high level by prospecting for new sales opportunities via phone, networking events and face-to-face appointments.
This role requires a strong sales mindset, exceptional relationship-building skills and the ability to close high-value deals in a competitive marketplace. You will work closely with the sales leadership team to execute strategic sales initiatives and maximize revenue opportunities.
This is an in-office role, based in Jersey City, NJ. The role is expected to attend additional athletic event(s) and/or department events as scheduled throughout the year and will require travel to in-market events.
What You'll Do
  • Generate new business revenue from full season memberships and premium seating through cold calling, prospecting, networking, referrals and in-person meetings
  • Meet or exceed daily call minimum and appointment expectations, along with annual sales goals
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with individuals and corporate decision makers to drive sales
  • Conduct face-to-face and virtual sales presentations, tailoring seating options to meet the specific needs of each prospect
  • Manage the entire sales process from beginning to end, ensuring a seamless and professional customer experience
  • Maintain an updated pipeline of potential buyers in the CRM system, accurately tracking interactions, follow-ups and deal progress
  • Actively participate in game days and other sales events to build brand awareness
  • Handle all incoming sales calls
  • Prospect and qualify all potential sales opportunities
  • Effectively execute sales campaigns and training set forth
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Maintain and grow industry standard sales skills
  • Perform basic office functions as needed

Who You Are
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Business, Sports Management, Marketing or related fields is preferred but not required
  • Proven track record of at least one year of high-level sales success, demonstrating strong performance and results
