Information Technology Compensation Plan
Salary Range: Pay Grade 3 $25.70-$37.00/Hour
Shift Type: Full-Time 
Wage/Hour Status: Non-Exempt
Reports To: Network Operations Supervisor




EMPLOYMENT BEGINS: As soon as possible


PRIMARY PURPOSE:

  • To assist the System Administrators and Teaching Staff by integrating and managing Apple devices, servers, and Google Chromebooks.


QUALIFICATIONS:

Education/Certification:
    High School Diploma or GED
    Valid Texas driver's license
    Preference for applicants with JAMF Certifications 
    Preference for applicants with Apple Certifications
    Preference for applicants with Google Workspace Certifications




Special Knowledge/Skills:
    JAMF Pro administration for all Apple devices
    Google Workspace administration
    Strong troubleshooting skills on macOS/iOS and ChromeOS
    Familiarity with Linux distributions and processes
    Strong interpersonal skills to translate tech-heavy concepts to non-technical users




    Experience:
    Troubleshooting skills related to iOS, macOS, ChromeOS, and Linux preferred
    Technical writing skills


MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

    Act as first level of defense for all support requests from department technicians and helpdesk personnel
    Manage all change requests regarding device enrollment
    Perform troubleshooting on Apple and Chromebook devices
    Work with district departments on new software rollouts, including packaging, testing and deployment
    Perform other duties as assigned

    Reaching with hands and arms and frequently repeating the same hand, arm, or finger motion
    Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time

    Seeing close work such as typed or handwritten material
