Job description

The Role

We are looking for a Senior Manager, Paid Search to own one of Gametime's most important acquisition channels.

Paid search at Gametime is a uniquely complex problem. We manage demand across hundreds of leagues, teams, artists, venues, and event types where inventory, pricing, geography, and intent are constantly changing. Success requires more than campaign management. It requires strong judgment, rigorous experimentation, and the ability to understand where automation helps and where human intervention creates leverage.

This is a senior individual contributor role with end-to-end ownership of strategy, execution, optimization, and measurement across a multi-million-dollar search portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own ROAS, efficiency, and growth targets across a multi-million-dollar paid search budget.
  • Develop and optimize campaign architecture across Google Ads and Microsoft Ads.
  • Build and refine keyword strategy, bidding frameworks, audience targeting, negative structures, and query management.
  • Audit and direct automated bidding systems, ensuring platform automation aligns with business objectives.
  • Partner closely with Product to improve post-click conversion performance and landing page experience.
  • Collaborate with Data and Analytics teams on attribution, incrementality, and measurement initiatives.
  • Identify and execute new growth opportunities across search inventory, seasonal demand patterns, and audience expansion.
  • Build reporting frameworks and performance insights that support decision-making across Growth leadership.
Key Competencies

Technical Skills

  • Deep expertise in Google Ads, Performance Max, SA360, and Microsoft Ads.
  • Strong understanding of bidding systems, attribution, incrementality, and performance measurement.
  • Experience operating large-scale search programs in complex environments.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to independently evaluate performance and identify growth opportunities.
  • Familiarity with AI-enabled workflows, reporting automation, and search optimization tools.

Leadership & Collaboration

  • Strong ownership mindset and accountability for business outcomes.
  • Ability to influence Product, Data, and Creative teams through data and clear communication.
  • Comfortable operating independently within a lean, high-performing team.

Minimum Qualifications
  • 5+ years of in-house paid search experience.
  • Experience managing multi-million-dollar paid search budgets.
  • Demonstrated ownership of ROAS, CPA, or similar business outcomes.
  • Experience working in marketplace, ecommerce, travel, or other high-intent transactional businesses.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills.
Nice to Have
  • Experience in ticketing, travel, rideshare, or other inventory-driven marketplaces.
  • Experience with incrementality testing or MMM environments.
  • Experience optimizing mobile-web conversion funnels.
  • AI fluency within search workflows and analysis.
