As a Senior Software Engineer, help build and scale a category-defining healthcare data platform and you will have experience in Elixir and/or Python. You will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining the systems that power our imaging data marketplace and enable healthcare innovation at scale.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on builder who thrives in an early-stage environment, enjoys solving complex technical problems, and takes ownership of outcomes. What You'll Do
Software Development & Architecture
  • Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable software applications using Elixir and Python.
  • Build and support both early-stage and mature production systems that power Avandra's imaging data platform.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to long-term platform strategy.
Technical Leadership & Ownership
  • Take ownership of projects from concept through deployment and ongoing support.
  • Lead technical initiatives with minimal supervision while driving high-quality outcomes.
  • Mentor engineers and contribute to engineering best practices, code quality, and development standards.
  • Help establish scalable processes and frameworks that support company growth.
Continuous Improvement & Innovation
  • Identify opportunities to improve system performance, reliability, and scalability.

What You'll Need
Required
  • 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.

Salary Range
  • $145,000 - $165,000 base salary, depending on experience and alignment with role expectations.
