3form is the leading manufacturer of award-winning, sustainable building materials and architectural hardware solutions for the Architecture + Design industry.
The Project Coordinator is responsible for the success of projects in their assigned territories. This is a customer facing, revenue driven role and the ideal candidate must be confident discussing 3form solutions (training will be provided) to our customers and deliver them in a professional manner both verbally and in written form. The successful Project Coordinator will be able to multitask and prioritize competing tasks and deadlines and demonstrate the ability to make the best decisions under pressure from customers on various projects in different stages of completion.
They are a strong team player who are proactive, possess creative problem-solving skills, and demonstrate good business judgment. This position requires the Project Coordinator to be responsive to requests from customers and colleagues.
About You:
You are service-oriented with strong communication and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with customers and employees in both written and verbal formats. You're professional, able to handle multiple things at once, and you are a self-starter. Daily activities will include answering phone calls and e-mails from both internal and external employees and customers, tracking the project from bidding to installation, and analyzing/interpreting order requests to ensure accuracy of order entry. Attention to detail, the ability to multi-task, and adaptability describe you to a tee.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Sales and Bid Development
  • Reviews specifications for accuracy, completeness, and correct application.
  • Project follow-up post bid. Working with the estimator and sales reps to follow up with submitted bids and convert to an order.
  • Is the main point of contact once the order is in-house.

Project Management and Execution:
  • Develops, manages and communicates the schedule based on overall project parameters, project scope and customer's goals.
  • Communicates with the 3form factory and fabrication teams to establish shipping schedules and special instructions.
  • Procures final approved drawings prior to fabrication and/or final site measurements if necessary. Ensures fabrication drawings are completed and approvals are obtained in accordance with project schedule.
  • Maintains detailed project documentation, including key project decisions, customer requests and revisions.
  • Track order to completion; maintains accurate and standardized order records.
  • Confirms project completion.

Required Skills:
  • Minimum of two (2) years of inside sales or customer service experience
  • Experience with Gmail, Google Docs and Google Hangout
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills, including professional presentation and facilitation skills
  • The ability to self-manage and work cooperatively both in a team environment and independently
  • A proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and successfully coordinate the efforts of internal and external resources in a timely and accurate manner

Preferred Skills:
  • Degree in business or communications or equivalent experience
  • Experience working within the commercial construction industry
  • Proactively manage Customer Relationship Management (CRM) information to inform the overall organization funnel and forecast
  • Demonstrates a high personal performance standard, the desire and ability to continuously learn, and have a results-oriented work style
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment at all levels of the organization, as well as the ability to build long-term relationships with customers and business partners based on mutual respect and trust
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural, design and fabrication drawings
  • Has working knowledge of construction documents, floor plans, scheduling and the construction process.
