Job description

We are looking for a Senior Mobile Application Developer with strong experience in React Native, Swift, and/or Kotlin to design, build, and maintain the mobile applications that power our direct-to-consumer self-service and customer engagement experiences. This is a fully remote position.
You will be responsible for developing high-quality, performant mobile applications across iOS and Android, building reusable cross-platform and native components, and collaborating with product, design, and back-end teams to deliver reliable, well-tested features that improve the digital journey for our customers.
  • As a Senior Mobile Application Developer you will play a key role in architecting and delivering end-to-end mobile experiences, from intuitive, responsive user interfaces to robust integrations with back-end services and APIs. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to translate business and customer needs into clean, maintainable, and high-performing mobile applications.
  • The ideal candidate is a versatile mobile engineer with deep experience in cross-platform development using React Native and native iOS (Swift) and/or Android (Kotlin), strong software design fundamentals, and a passion for building fast, reliable, and delightful mobile experiences.
The responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:
  • Design, develop, and maintain mobile applications for iOS and Android using React Native and native code (Swift and/or Kotlin).
  • Build reusable, well-structured components and libraries that work seamlessly across platforms.
  • Integrate mobile applications with RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs, back-end services, and third-party SDKs.
  • Implement responsive, accessible, and intuitive user interfaces that deliver an exceptional mobile experience.
  • Optimize application performance, memory usage, battery consumption, and startup time across devices.
  • Manage the full mobile release lifecycle, including builds, code signing, and submissions to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
  • Write clean, testable, and well-documented code, supported by unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
  • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated mobile builds, testing, and distribution (e.g., Fastlane, App Center, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions).
  • Participate in architecture and design discussions, contributing to technical decisions and mobile standards.
  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate wireframes and prototypes into polished, pixel-accurate screens.
  • Partner with Product, QA, and back-end teams to plan, estimate, and deliver features in an Agile environment.
  • Conduct and participate in code reviews to uphold code quality, security, and performance standards.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues using crash reporting and analytics tools.
  • Ensure mobile applications meet security, privacy, and platform compliance requirements (Apple App Store and Google Play guidelines).
  • Stay current with emerging mobile technologies, frameworks, and platform updates, and recommend improvements.
  • Mentor junior developers and share best practices in modern mobile development.

  • 5+ years of professional mobile application development experience building and shipping production iOS and/or Android apps.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Strong experience with React Native and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Hands-on native development experience with Swift (iOS) and/or Kotlin (Android).
  • Solid understanding of mobile architecture patterns (e.g., MVVM, MVC, Redux) and state management.
  • Experience integrating with RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs and handling offline data and caching.
  • Experience publishing and maintaining apps in the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
  • Familiarity with mobile CI/CD and automated testing tools (e.g., Fastlane, App Center, Detox, XCTest, Espresso).
  • Understanding of mobile security, authentication and authorization, push notifications, and deep linking.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies and version control (Git).
  • Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
