Position Purpose:
The Sr Analyst, Supplier Operations serves as a vital technical and operational partner driving the success of online merchandising and marketplace operations. Combining expert-level data analytics with hands-on supplier support, this role leverages SQL and Google BigQuery to navigate massive, complex item datasets, optimize fulfillment configurations (Ship-to-Customer and Ship-to-Store), and execute key data strategies for major system rollouts, including Mirakl.
Beyond backend data mastery, the Senior Analyst acts as a primary operational liaison for external partners-managing ticketing workflows, troubleshooting complex system issues, and empathetically resolving high-stakes supplier escalations. Partnering closely with Merchandise Planning Managers and Online Merchants, you will translate enterprise-scale data into actionable business solutions, drive process efficiencies, and elevate overall supplier engagement to maximize sales and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
  • 30% Partner with Merchandise Planning Managers and Online Merchants to analyze business drivers, provide insightful assessments and execute strategies to achieve business objectives.
  • 40% Track and measure business performance via execution of key daily, weekly and monthly reporting; seek out opportunities to continuously improve reporting efforts.
  • 30% Contribute to projects and new initiatives with further strategic business objectives.

  • Position reports to Sr Manager, Merchandise Planning-Online

Travel Requirements:
  • Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.

Physical Requirements:
  • Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.

Working Conditions:
  • Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Must be eighteen years of age or older.
  • Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Expert-level proficiency in SQL and Google BigQuery (GBQ) is required, with proven experience manipulating and querying massive, enterprise-scale datasets. Experience using Python for data analysis or automation is a strong plus.
  • Hands-on experience executing data strategies for complex system rollouts or platform integrations, preferably with enterprise e-commerce tools like Mirakl or similar marketplace solutions.
  • Strong background in supplier-facing operations and ticketing workflows, with a proven ability to troubleshoot complex issues and manage high-stakes, sensitive partner de-escalations with empathy and tact.
  • Familiarity with e-commerce fulfillment dynamics, item-level data structures, and configuration models such as Ship-to-Customer (STC) and Ship-to-Store (STS).
  • High degree of intellectual curiosity with a holistic "systems thinking" mindset-able to understand how interconnected enterprise systems interact rather than analyzing isolated data sets.
  • Demonstrated ability to build business models and translate heavy technical data into clear, actionable reporting using tools like SQL, Tableau, and Excel to influence cross-functional leadership.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with a track record of independently prioritizing daily operational ticketing, live troubleshooting, and long-term strategic project deliverables in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor's degree or MBA (or equivalent work experience) in Retail, E-Commerce, Supply Chain, Business Analytics, or Corporate Consulting.
