Minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical or business field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in customer-facing roles (e.g., driving professional services or transformation strategies) in the cloud or enterprise technology domain.
  • Experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) technologies, services, and adoption frameworks.
  • Experience with executive-level customer relationships (e.g., acting as an advisor or portfolio leader).
  • Experience solving business problems with cloud technologies, specifically AI/Generative AI.
  • Experience managing end-to-end commercial agreement pursuit and services agreement lifecycles (e.g., agreement qualification, agreement scoping, proposal development, agreement negotiation).

Preferred qualifications:

As a Pursuit AI Lead, you will act as the growth engine and primary AI services connection point for Google Cloud's customer transformations. In this role, you will drive executive-level customer conversations to understand the customer's key business opportunities and issues, and how these can be solved utilizing Google Cloud's core and AI technology capabilities.
Partnering closely with Sales leadership, this role defines the holistic AI transformation services strategy for an assigned customer portfolio, driving repeatable success. You will build proposals to transform customers' businesses and drive unique business outcomes, serving as a trusted advisor who owns the AI services architecture and positions the value proposition of Google Cloud services to accelerate Google Cloud platform (GCP) adoption and maximize business growth while driving customer value. Furthermore, you will have the opportunity to influence Google's professional services strategy and business efforts, guide overall direction, and shape programs and offers.
You will be expected to travel and be on the customer site approximately 30% of the time.

Responsibilities
  • Define, own and articulate the comprehensive AI transformation strategy for a strategic enterprise portfolio, partnering directly with sales leadership and C-level executives to identify opportunities and resolve pain points.
  • Architect the customer AI services journey, managing the entire services lifecycle from qualification through contracting and creating proposals, leveraging a value services approach to accelerate cloud adoption.
  • Translate complex customer business goals and outcomes into a defined AI transformation services roadmap, scope the required professional services work, and orchestrate the engagement of the right delivery resources (Professional Services Organization and Partners).
  • Drive AI strategy and go-to-market execution for Google professional services core programs; shape offers, build assets, scale enablement, and value-sell alongside the team to capture field and customer insights.
  • Support professional services pipeline transparency, tracking status and executing resolution strategies to eliminate blockers.
