Marketing Communications Specialist

Full Time Regular Morrisville, NC, US

AMGUARD Environmental Technologies (“AMGUARD”) is seeking a talented Marketing Communication Specialist to strengthen the AMGUARD marketing mission. This role will work across all AMGUARD specialty market segments – Pest, Turf, Nursery, Ornamental, Public Health and Landscape. This role will bring experience and skill designing and executing B2B digital advertising campaigns, conducting market and competitive research and supporting strategic communications. The Marketing Communication Specialist will strengthen AMGUARD’s strategic commitment to expanding customer marketshare while working as a marketing generalist on a team focused on branding, digital marketing campaigns, and supporting our overall commercial initiatives.

AMGUARD Environmental Technologies is an emerging provider of non-crop and specialty technology solutions for the US Public Health, Pest Control, Ornamental & Greenhouse, Golf, Lawn & Landscape, and Consumer markets. From our RTP headquarters and labs, AMGUARD discovers, develops and commercializes a diverse portfolio of proven chemistries, innovative technologies, and green solutions into diverse markets.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Design and execute digital B2B marketing campaigns to end user and distribution customers
  • Support corporate, product, and technology branding initiates
  • Prepare a monthly ROI analysis of paid media metrics to help the team maximize use of our media budget
  • Develop distribution visibility and partnership activation strategies
  • Support the development, execution, and analysis of surveys and focus groups
  • Participate in key innovation and product development initiatives
Education, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • 3+ years of marketing, customer activation, trade marketing or brand marketing experience
  • Bachelor’s degree required _ Marketing preferred
  • 5+ years of experience marketing insect, weed, and plant disease control products and/or services in US specialty markets
  • Familiarity with US specialty markets, drivers, competitive products, and regulatory environments
  • Understanding of manufacturer indirect sales models and multiple customer audiences
  • Product development and product management experience is a plus
  • An entrepreneurial, agile, creative mindset that thrives in entrepreneurial environments
  • A focus on leadership by example, a bias for results and execution, and the humility and confidence to put team success ahead of self
  • Strong strategic thinking and project management capabilities
  • Experience building customer engagement activation, or experiential programs
  • Experience with digital marketing tools, social media, management, and content creation for technical and diverse audiences
  • A knack for clarifying, simplifying, and streamlining information and processes
  • Excellent data visualization skills via Excel, PowerPoint
  • Ability to interact with all levels of management and staff
  • Detail-oriented and self-motivated
  • Proficiency with Google Marketing Platform
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to pass background check
