Familiarity with GPS technology, digital mapping equipment, and basic troubleshooting is commonly required, along with any necessary certifications for commercial driving. What is a Google Maps Driving?

A Google Maps Driving job typically involves collecting street-level imagery or mapping data for Google Maps using specialized camera-equipped vehicles. The role requires a valid driver's license, attention to detail, and the ability to follow strict guidelines.

You'll be responsible for planning your route using provided instructions or schedules, monitoring equipment for optimal data capture, and performing routine checks or light troubleshooting if issues arise. While much of the day is spent driving independently, there is regular communication with a remote support team for updates, problem resolution, or reporting progress. This role requires flexibility, as routes and assigned coverage areas may change based on project needs.
