Job description

BRP is looking for a skilled Digital Commerce Integration Specialist to join its dynamic and growing Direct to Consumer team within a fully autonomous team operating end-to-end from ideation to production.

This role offers end-to-end ownership of complex integration projects, enabling you to apply best development practices and contribute to a forward-thinking, innovation-driven team.

You will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining our e-commerce integrations to deliver high-quality user experiences and business value.

YOU'LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO: Integration Development :
  • Design, test, and deploy high-quality integration solutions using Java microservices on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

  • Integrate third-party APIs and services (payment gateways, PIM, fraud, tax…)

  • Design and implement API integrations using Apigee X, ensuring security, scalability, and reliability

  • Design and optimize event-driven architectures leveraging GCP Pub/Sub.

  • Create and maintain integration workflows, messaging systems, and data transformations

  • Collaborate with Integration Architects to refine technical designs and best practices.

  • Ensure code quality, performance, and maintainability, applying rigorous development standards

  • Conduct unit and integration testing using tools like Postman to validate API behavior

  • Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, ensuring minimal downtime and smooth system operations

  • Document technical specifications and contribute to the team's knowledge base

  • Work efficiently and autonomously, managing priorities in a fast-paced environment

Business & Cross-Team Collaboration :

  • Translate business requirements from the D2C team into integration specifications

  • Own field-level mapping documentation and ensure clear understanding of business impact for each interface

  • Actively participate in sprint reviews, backlog refinement and roadmap discussions

  • Work closely with backend developers on eCommerce to optimize API integrations and performance

  • Collaborate within a cross-functional autonomous team composed of PMs, POs, Functional Analysts, Developers, QA, and Operations

Workflow Optimization & Automation:

  • Identify and implement automation opportunities to streamline development and deployment workflows

  • Monitor integrations and actively contribute to reducing technical debt

  • Contribute to the improvement of development workflows, including CI/CD pipelines and testing strategies

  • Research and recommend tools and technologies to enhance team productivity

  • Conduct code reviews and enforce high standards in development, testing, and documentation

YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:
Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in integration development, with a strong focus on:

    • Java development for backend services

    • Google Cloud Platform (GCP), particularly for microservices and event-driven architectures.

    • Apigee X for API management and exposure

    • GCP Pub/Sub for messaging and asynchronous processing

    • Postman for API testing and validation

  • Strong expertise in digital system integrations, particularly with Adobe Commerce, Akeneo, Coveo, SAP S/4HANA, Salesforce, and cloud platforms

  • Strong knowledge of database technologies such as MySQL, MongoDB, Snowflake

  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to debug and optimize integration solutions

  • Highly autonomous, rigorous, and highly efficient, capable of handling complex tasks independently

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams

  • Bilingual proficiency in French & English

Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with cloud platforms and DevOps practices (Azure, AWS, GCP, CI/CD)

  • Strong knowledge of performance optimization, caching strategies, and scalability patterns

  • Solid experience integrating third-party services and APIs across commerce and enterprise ecosystems

  • Familiarity with CMS, Payment Gateway, Commerce, DAM, PIM, CRM, ERP systems and best practices
