Job description

Audubon is seeking Senior Right of Way Agents to join our expanding Title Team in our Arizona office. These roles conduct comprehensive title research through online databases and county courthouses to determine surface ownership and identify issues that may impact project delivery.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct title searches and research public records to identify landowners, property rights, and legal descriptions affected by projects.
  • Order and review title reports for accuracy, flagging vesting conflicts, easements, judgments, CC&Rs, liens, and encumbrances.
  • Perform preliminary appraisal research, survey permitting, and field title curative work.
  • Manage multiple dynamic priorities, and deadlines with shifting timelines.
  • Maintain clear, professional communication with team members and stakeholders.
  • Comply with all company, client HSE, and all other applicable federal and local regulations.
  • Actively participate in hazard identification and observation programs; immediately report unsafe acts, conditions, or incidents to your supervisor.
  • Support additional tasks assigned based on evolving business needs.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 3+ years of ROW experience preferred.
  • Proficiently able to examine public records and determine surface ownership rights.
  • Working knowledge of legal agreements associated with ROW projects.
  • Familiarity with condemnation procedures preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft products Windows, Office Suite, for document preparation, reporting, presentations, and research.
  • Familiarity with navigating mapping system, Google Earth, Arc GIS, and various county mapping systems.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to maintain orderly documentation.
