Your Opportunity

We are looking for an exceptionally skilled, hands-on, and innovation-minded Full Stack Developer, to build complex web applications, AI agents and APIs in our new Assurance Innovation Lab (ASR Labs).

The Assurance Innovation R&D Lab (ASR Labs) serves as the experimentation, innovation, and solution development engine supporting our Assurance practice. Working alongside other functions nationally - including our Innovation Operations, AI Studio - Central Lab, Central Data Team, and Innovation & Change (I&C) - you will help ideate, design, prototype, develop, and deliver, scalable solutions that modernize how work gets done across our Assurance practice.

In this net new role you will work with a team dedicated to building modern applications, intelligent workflow solutions, integrations, and AI-enabled platforms that support business transformation and operational modernization initiatives across our practice. You will be reporting to our Head of ASR Transformation, and have a dotted line to our technically astute managers in our AI Studio - Central Lab.

This role goes beyond traditional application development. We are looking for a persistent and creative problem-solver who can think strategically about workflow modernization, scalability, integration, and user experience while delivering high-quality technical solutions.

The ideal candidate will have 3-7 years of experience developing innovative and highly scalable platforms and solutions. Hands-on experience spanning both front-end interfaces and back-end services and databases - full stack proficiency - is a prerequisite in this role. Cross-functional work experience is also critical.

Key Responsibilities:

Application Development & Engineering

  • Design, develop, and maintain modern full stack applications, APIs, and intelligent workflow solutions

  • Build scalable, secure, and high-performing platforms leveraging modern cloud-native architectures

  • Develop intuitive user interfaces and business-facing applications that improve operational efficiency and user experience

  • Support integration between data platforms, AI services, workflow tools, and enterprise systems

  • Build reusable services and frameworks that support scalable transformation initiatives across Assurance

AI & Intelligent Workflow Enablement

  • Collaborate with Data Scientists and AI teams to integrate AI, automation, and intelligent capabilities into applications and workflows

  • Support development of AI-enabled tools, copilots, workflow automation solutions, and intelligent operational platforms

  • Help operationalize prototypes and experimentation efforts into production-ready solutions

  • Support modernization of workflows and operational processes through technology-enabled solutions

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Business Partnership

  • Partner closely with Transformation Relationship Managers (TRMs), Assurance practitioners, Innovation & Change (I&C), Data & Analytics, and leadership teams

  • Participate in multidisciplinary teams focused on solving business problems through technology, AI, automation, and workflow redesign

  • Support rapid prototyping, experimentation, and scaling of innovative solutions within the Assurance R&D Lab

  • Participate in discovery sessions, design thinking workshops, ideation sessions, and solution design activities

  • Help bridge business needs, operational realities, and technical execution to accelerate transformation outcomes

  • Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions

DevOps, Scalability & Engineering Excellence

  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and modern development practices

  • Support cloud deployment, infrastructure automation, monitoring, and operational reliability

  • Ensure solutions follow best practices for security, scalability, maintainability, and performance

  • Contribute to engineering standards, reusable frameworks, and technical governance

  • Support agile delivery and iterative development approaches within transformation initiatives

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Software Engineering or a related field.

  • Full stack proficiency earned through experience, not entitlement.

  • Proficiency in front-end frameworks like React, Next, Angular, or Vue.js. Able to build dynamic web interfaces and user experiences.

  • Expertise in back-end languages like Node.js, Python, Java, Go, C#, and associated frameworks. Able to develop robust and scalable APIs and microservices.

  • In-depth experience with SQL and NoSQL databases like MySQL, MongoDB, or PostgreSQL.

  • Track record of using tools like Docker, Kubernetes, Azure, or GCP to build and deploy cloud-based solutions.

  • Experience with fully automated testing, continuous integration, and deployment pipelines.

  • Passion for well-designed systems, learning new technologies and programming languages.

  • Excellent communication, critical thinking and troubleshooting skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and debug software issues.

  • Great attention to detail to ensure high-quality code and user experience.

The expected range of compensation for this role is $77,000 to $117,000 annually
