Job Summary:
Nexus IT Group is seeking a Frontend Engineer to help build and maintain a proprietary mobile application platform that interfaces with connected hardware devices. The role involves developing production-grade software for mobile and web applications, and requires a strong technical background in cross-platform mobile development, particularly with Flutter and Dart.
Responsibilities:
• Develop, maintain, and enhance cross-platform mobile applications for iOS and Android using Flutter and Dart.
• Build and support communication workflows between mobile applications and connected hardware devices, including Bluetooth-based connectivity, structured messaging, device interactions, and data processing.
• Integrate applications with APIs and cloud-based services, supporting data synchronization and network communication workflows.
• Create intuitive, production-quality user interfaces and collaborate with stakeholders to improve usability and user experience.
• Translate design specifications into responsive, pixel-accurate Flutter applications.
• Support data collection, telemetry, and application-side processing workflows.
• Implement secure application architecture, authentication mechanisms, and data transmission practices.
• Manage mobile application deployment and release processes for both Apple App Store and Google Play Store environments.
• Maintain source control standards, CI/CD pipelines, and automated build workflows.
• Provide technical guidance and code review support to other contributors.
• Contribute to web application development and maintenance using modern frontend frameworks.

Qualifications:
Required:
• 5+ years of software development experience with ownership of a production mobile application.
• Strong experience developing cross-platform mobile applications using Flutter and Dart.

• Experience implementing communication protocols, data processing workflows, and API integrations.
• Experience publishing applications to both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
• Strong understanding of Git-based version control workflows.
• Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to work from detailed technical specifications and engineering documentation.
• Experience within a highly technical engineering environment involving hardware and software integration.
• Familiarity with real-time systems, embedded technologies, or connected-device ecosystems.

• Must be authorized to work in the United States and able to work onsite full-time.
