Job Description

FIS Management Services, LLC seeks Senior Front-End Engineer (React, Angular, AWS) in Jacksonville, FL to lead end-to-end development of complex financial applications using front-end frameworks (React, Angular) while aligning with enterprise architecture standards. Architect and implement scalable, serverless solutions on AWS (lambdas, API Gateway, S3) and modern Node.js services. Expert in AEM (Adobe Experience Manager), managing CMS integrations, HTL templates, and OSGi services to bridge content and commerce. Develop mobile apps for iOS and Android using React-Native, Swift, Flutter, and Kotlin with a focus on performance and accessibility. Spearhead platform modernization initiatives by introducing emerging technologies, driving adoption strategies that reduce tech debt, improve developer experience, and align with long-term business goals. Drive frontend strategy using reusable component libraries and CI/CD pipelines (Gradle, Webpack). Utilize Fastlane, Bitrise for automated App Store, Google Play deployments. Navigate ambiguity by taking ownership of loosely defined initiatives through iterative delivery and lean agile principles. Apply data-driven decision-making by using instrumentation tools (Splunk, Firebase) to optimize workflows. Mentor and lead cross-functional teams, fostering a collaborative culture through code reviews and architectural discussions. Champion a Community of Practice to establish coding standards and elevate team velocity. Define and enforce security and testing using Jest, Cypress. Play a key role in talent development and hiring strategy.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or related field and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related occupation: performing software development, with a focus on front-end development using React.jx; working JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, AEM and related web technologies; working with state management libraries including ReduX, MobX, and RxJs; utilizing AWS cloud development and React/Redux; building micro-frontends and working with mono repositories; working with client and server side rendering; utilizing ARIA, accessibility, and WCAG; working with CI/CD pipelines, version control (git), and automated deployment practices; integrating frontend with scalable backend services including REST and graphQL; configuring and debugging frontend tooling including webpack, node, npm, storybook, yarn, and babel; and testing at the unit, component, integration, and end-to-end levels including the use of Jest libraries. In the alternative, the employer will accept a Master's degree in the above listed fields and three (3) years of experience in the above listed skills.
