POSITION SUMMARY: The driver is responsible for gathering and delivering orders. Also processing cash payment or providing credit card slips for customer orders.

WAGE AND OTHER PAYMENT: Drivers wage range is a combination of wage of $9.25/hour PLUS tips. PLUS a delivery fee based on distance. Initial help/training with routing deliveries provided.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Able to read map based on grid system
  • Knowledge of streets in delivery area & most efficient routes
  • Personable, good customer service skills and able to communicate with coworkers and customers
  • Safe driving habits
  • Full understanding of traffic laws, including parking laws & no parking zones
  • Able to operate POS system when trained, for routing, locating orders, and taking orders over the phone
  • Can use Google and Facebook for schedule posts
  • If applying for nights, able to drive safely and efficiently in the dark
  • Help with dishwashing, soda stocking, sweeping/mopping, general cleaning, waste removal, answering phones, and other assigned side duties. MUCH LESS side work than most restaurants require
  • Comfortable around pets you may encounter on deliveries
  • Able to drive in all weather conditions
  • Have a working smart phone

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:

  • Must be friendly, punctual and guest service oriented
  • Ability to communicate effectively
