MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH PALANTIR

  • As a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer (Delta), you will serve as the technical leader at the intersection of Palantir Foundry's platform capabilities and our most complex, high-impact healthcare data and operational engagements.
  • This role combines deep technical expertise in Palantir Foundry with strategic deployment leadership, driving transformational outcomes for our kidney care and healthcare operations.
  • The Delta designation reflects a commitment to driving change and transformation-you are the catalyst who bridges the gap between what the platform can do and what it should do for our unique operational context.
  • You will be expected to be a hands-on, independent FDE responsible for architecting enterprise-grade solutions, developing and deploying applications, mentoring engineers as needed, and shaping the technical strategy for critical engagements across our client's healthcare ecosystem. 
Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in software engineering, data engineering, or technical consulting, including 2+ years building solutions with Palantir Foundry.
  • Strong programming experience in Python, SQL, TypeScript, and/or Java, with expertise using PySpark, Pandas, Polars, and DuckDB for large-scale data engineering.
  • Deep expertise with the Foundry Ontology, including Object Types, Link Types, Action Types, Interfaces, Functions, and OSDK development.
  • Proven experience designing, developing, and maintaining production-grade batch, streaming, and CDC data pipelines, utilizing Pipeline Builder, Incremental Pipelines, Data Connections, Connectors, Syncs, and Scheduling.
  • Experience building user-facing applications using Workshop, OSDK, and React/TypeScript/Python, including development of custom widgets and operational workflows.
  • Strong understanding of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services including BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Cloud Functions, and enterprise networking concepts.
  • Experience designing scalable data warehouse solutions using BigQuery, including query optimization, partitioning, clustering, and migration from legacy enterprise data warehouses.
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise data governance and security, including Markings, Permissions, Restricted Views, Cipher, Attribute-Based Access Control (ABAC), and HIPAA-compliant data handling.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to partner with technical teams, business stakeholders, and executive leadership while translating business needs into scalable Foundry solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience developing AI-powered applications using Palantir AIP, including AIP Logic, AIP Agents, LLM Functions, and Evaluation Suites.
  • Experience building and operationalizing machine learning solutions using Model Studio, pro-code model authoring, batch inference, live inference, and BigQuery ML.
  • Experience deploying enterprise solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and optimizing cloud-native data architectures.
  • Healthcare, kidney care, clinical operations, revenue cycle management, or other regulated healthcare industry experience.
  • Experience leading teams of 3+ engineers in Forward Deployed Engineering or technical consulting engagements.
  • Experience contributing to internal developer tooling, reusable Foundry accelerators, open-source projects, or platform enablement initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor engineers, establish technical standards, and drive solution architecture across multiple enterprise engagements.
