CulinaryLocal is a curated marketplace for food and drink events.  We help people discover and participate in memorable culinary experiences.

Job Description

CulinaryLocal is looking for two talented and self driven individuals to assist with social media, email and content marketing. We are an early stage startup and there is an opportunity make immediate and significant contributions to the growth and success of our company.

Both positions are part-time, unpaid internships. They are ideal for college students or recent grads pursuing marketing related fields. We offer 6 or 12 month internship opportunities. To learn more about CulinaryLocal visit www.culinarylocal.com and www.culinarylocal.com/press.

Responsibilities

Schedule weekly social media postings. 

Assist with social media outreach. Engage with influencers, promote content via established social media channels including Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, LinkedIn and Google Plus. 

Engage with local PR firms to educate and identify event listing opportunities.

Produce blog posts to help drive site traffic and generate awareness. 

Assist with developing and executing content strategy.

Create & send weekly newsletter to subscribers.

Build prospecting lists of businesses CulinaryLocal can contact. 

Identify correct contacts within businesses to engage with.  

Manage data via CRM. 

Availability to attend the occasional food event.  

Conduct research on Atlanta culinary events.

Assist with other marketing and data entry initiatives.


Qualifications

Excellent writing and communication skills. 

Must have a knowledge and understanding of social media platforms. 

Marketing experience to promote a growing brand.

Reliable Transportation.  

Computer or Laptop.  

Great follow up skills. 

Must be self-sufficient and motivated to deliver tasks independently. Self-starter and resourceful. 

Comfortable using Microsoft Office.
