Job Title     : Enterprise Cloud Architect

Location     : Chicago, IL ( Locals are preferred )

Duration     : 6-12 Months

Visa             : GC-EAD, , TN only 

15 years minimum.  5 years as Enterprise Cloud Architect

   

We don’t want an Application Architect.  But Enterprise Cloud Architect with bend of On-Prem Infrastructure.

  • Frameworks like TOGAF, SAFe,
  • Led Transformation/Modernization initiatives
  • Led Cloud Adoption initiatives
  • Ideated, Pitched, created business value
  • Has cloud architect level certifications
  • Show executive stakeholder management, cross team collaborations
  • Talks about cost saving, business value creation, initiatives with long term vision
  • Reporting to executive leaders
  • Well Architected Framework and Cloud Adoption Framework familiarity
  • Landing zone design/architecture
  • Identity architecture - Microsoft Entra ID or any Identity Provider, condition access policies, Privileged Identity/Access Management
  • Azure/Google Cloud Platform/AWS any stack is fine because lot of concepts are same across platforms.
  • Network Security architecture/Firewall/DNS
  • Cloud Maturity Assessments
  • Infrastructure as Code (also called IaC) using Terraform/Bicep/any frameworks
  • Azure Policies, Identity Security 
  • 5+ years high level cloud infrastructure design
  • Extensive In-Depth knowledge in public, private, and multi-cloud / hybrid environments (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform) and migrating on-premises application and services to those platforms.
  • Experience with containerization solutions and orchestration platforms, both on-premises and cloud based. 
  • Docker, Rancher, Kubernetes, Azure Kubernetes Service, Amazon EKS, Google GKE
  • Design and maintain Hybrid, cloud infrastructure for AI workloads in cloud. Ability to troubleshoot complex AI issues and identify root causes.
  • Experience managing consumption, rate limits, and cost controls for AI models.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Fabric for large scale data processing and analytics.
  • Strong knowledge of templating and automation scripting, CI/CD such as Power-shell, Chef, Ansible, and Puppet, Terraform code.
  • Experience in implementing Cloud Governance best practices across Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform
  • Strong working knowledge of LAN/WAN/SDWAN concepts as they relate to hybrid environments
  • Experience with building and maintaining high-availability (>99%) environments
  • Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, Microsoft EntraID, Conditional Access Policy.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux server technologies.
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills and attention to detail.
