Senior Google Cloud Platform Cloud Migration Architect

Type: Full-Time

Role Overview

We are seeking a visionary Google Cloud Platform Cloud Migration Architect to lead high-impact, enterprise-scale cloud transformations. You will steer complex application placement strategies—prioritizing Google Cloud while objectively evaluating AWS and private cloud targets—and drive the end-to-end journey from deep discovery to establishing a scalable, automated migration factory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Architecture & Assessment: Lead discovery, right-sizing, dependency mapping, and design robust target-state Google Cloud Platform architectures (Compute, GKE, Networking, IAM, HA/DR).

  • Migration Factory Execution: Build and scale a wave-based Migration Factory, defining squad-level operating models and execution governance.

  • xOps & Financial Governance: Champion comprehensive FinOps, CloudOps, and SecOps blueprints, integrating Google’s RAMP program and advanced pricing models.

  • Automation & AI-Driven Tooling: Implement Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform), robust DevSecFinOps CI/CD pipelines, and modern AI-driven testing frameworks.

What We Are Looking For

  • Experience: 10+ years in enterprise software engineering, delivery leadership, and multi-cloud infrastructure.

  • Technical Depth: Expert-level mastery of Google Cloud Platform native services (GKE, VPC, Cloud Spanner, IAM) and strong cross-cloud competencies (AWS mapping).

  • Engineering Excellence: Proven track record with advanced Terraform configurations, automated CI/CD pipelines, and AI testing integration.

  • Certifications (Preferred): Google Cloud Professional Architect / DevOps Engineer, alongside AWS Solutions Architect - Professional.

  • Leadership: Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, and technical roadmap documentation skills.
