Mythic employees are expected to work from 9:00am-5:30pm EST, but may also require evenings and weekends as client needs dictate. Must be authorized to work in the US without corporate assistance. Must be located in the US.

Job Summary:
Mythic is seeking a Media Buyer, Google with 2 - 3 years of experience to join our growing team. As Mythic's Media Buyer, Google, you will build and optimize high performance campaigns across Google Search, Shopping, and YouTube to drive measurable growth.
What you'll be doing:
  • Campaign Execution: Build, launch, and manage high-performance campaigns across Google Search, Shopping (PMax), and YouTube (including TrueView, Discovery, and Shorts).
  • Performance Optimization: Conduct daily account "hygiene," including bid management, keyword expansion, negative keyword refinement, and Quality Score improvement.
  • YouTube Strategy: Design and execute YouTube ad sequencing and audience targeting strategies that move users from awareness to action.
  • A/B Testing & Creative Analysis: Partner with the creative team to design and test ad copy, thumbnails, and video assets, using data to inform future creative briefs.
  • Reporting & Insights: Collaborate with the Associate Director to build and maintain comprehensive dashboards in Looker Studio and GA4, providing the "so what" behind the data.
  • Cross-Channel Synergy: Work closely with the counterparts to ensure a unified brand voice and leverage cross-channel audience insights for retargeting.
  • Beta Testing: Stay ahead of industry shifts by identifying and participating in Google's latest product alphas and betas.

What you'll bring to the team:
  • Experience: 2-3 years of hands-on experience in performance marketing, specifically within Google Ads (Search & Video).
  • Platform Mastery: Proficient in Google Ads interface, Google Ads Editor, and YouTube Studio.
  • Analytical Rigor: Comfortable navigating GA4 and using Excel/Google Sheets (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs) to synthesize large datasets.
  • Communication: Ability to translate technical metrics into actionable insights for the Associate Director and broader marketing stakeholders.
  • Growth Mindset: A "fail fast, learn faster" mentality with a passion for staying updated on the latest digital marketing trends.
  • Certifications: Google Ads Search, Video, and Measurement certifications are highly preferred.
