Summary:

MERIT is hiring an entry-level full-time Marketing Coordinator. This position will work closely with the marketing team to develop campaign strategies to promote MERIT’s brand, services, and software platform. Key responsibilities include coordinating all marketing efforts to create consistent, effective promotional campaigns across platforms and organizing the creation of new marketing materials. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Plan, execute, and track marketing initiatives
  • Help plan social media content calendar and post to LinkedIn regularly. Keep promotional materials ready. Coordinate requirements with graphics
  • Assist with the planning and managing of marketing efforts for trade shows, conferences, events and meetings. This includes conference research, hotel reservations, vendor coordination, event planning, and trade show logistics
  • Develop various types of marketing deliverables, including social media posts sales and collateral
  • Communicate campaign deliverables, objectives and timelines to team while providing instructions for promotion/use
  • Manage tasks outsourced to external vendors (such as printing companies)
  • Evaluate and monitor campaign performance on an ongoing basis by analyzing key metrics, then summarizing takeaways into insightful reports
  • Maintain an inventory and directory of marketing materials
  • Help create, proofread, and edit copy for various marketing channels, ensuring consistent voice
  • Manage relationships with external vendors to ensure high-quality and timely execution of marketing programs, and to ensure competitiveness
  • Conduct market research and identify trends

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, graphic design, communications, psychology, business administration, or a related field. Recent college graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Graphic design program experience with Adobe Creative Suite. Must be able to create social graphics and basic content (MERIT also has a FT graphic designer for complex projects)
  • Must be a self-starter and able to independently move projects forward, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
  • Understanding of AIO, SEO, SEM and the ability to continually learn best practices to optimize website and search content
  • Must have strong organizational and project management skills, as well as attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as outstanding copywriting and proofreading skills
  • Ability to learn and adapt knowledge to marketing platforms, channels, and best practices, including social, digital, email, and print marketing
  • Must have strong analytical skills to analyze metrics and create reports
  • 1-2 years of experience in marketing is a plus but not required
  • Marketing platform knowledge/familiarity with Google Analytics and Google Ads is a plus but not required
