Mechanic (310S) * Mississauga, Dixie and Derry * Permanent, full-time, Monday to Friday 8:00am-5:00pm – no evenings or weekends * Competitive salary * Must have your own toolbox * 310S License With over 50 years in our family run business, Worgan’s Goodyear (https://www.worgansgoodyeartireandauto.com/) is a well-known and popular Auto Service Center operating out of the Mississauga area. Our technicians are specialized in engine diagnostics and performance, exhaust system repairs, glass repair and more. We also specialize in fleet repairs and have been servicing the Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board for over 35 years. Now due to growth in our business, we’re looking for a new Mechanic to join our team. As our new Mechanic, you’ll never have a shortage of interesting and variable work. We have strong partnerships with school boards and car dealerships – so working on 15-20 vehicles a day will be the norm for you. You’ll work side by side with our knowledgeable mechanics and owner while learning new skills daily. Your main responsibilities will be to repair and maintain various vehicles. You’ll also work on a variety of makes and models, running diagnostics and working with brakes, suspension, ABS, AC, and electrical. You’ll do the routine maintenance that every car needs. Whether you’re an apprentice or experienced mechanic, we’re looking for someone who has a strong work ethic, is committed to continuous learning, and enjoys working with their hands.  Working with Worgan’s Goodyear This is a full-time permanent position working Monday to Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm. Salary range varies depending on your level and experience and includes vacation, and the possibility of benefits depending on your performance. We work out of a bright, clean, and modern shop full of state-of-the-art equipment. We have a great family like environment that is close knit, with many hardworking employees who are determined to get the job done well. If you’re not an experienced mechanic, don’t let that deter you from applying – we’re open to taking on 3rd or 4th year apprenticeship students as well. Qualifications * Experience as a mechanic in an auto shop * Experience providing customer service in a shop environment * Valid drivers license * A full set of tools in good condition, for your own use * Ability to lift up to 60 pounds * 310S License * Knowledge of fleet maintenance best practices * Experience troubleshooting various problems on vehicles   How to Apply Our online application gives you the chance to apply as more than just a resume.
