As a Donor Door Greeter, you are responsible for welcoming and greeting all donors, safely taking in all donations and assisting customers while staying engaged and communicating effectively. The Donor Door Greeter practices efficient processing of donation records using a hand-held device. The greeter exhibits customer commitment and personal effectiveness.
Retail Associate - ADC Donor Door Greeter

Part-time
The Phenix City retail store is currently looking for a hard-working and dedicated Retail Associate - Donor Door Greeter for their Attended Donation Center located on Stadium Drive.
Goodwill Industries of the Southern Rivers, Inc.'s Retail Associate - ADC Donor Door Greeter responsibilities:
  • Greets donors quickly and efficiently with excellent customer service.
  • Operates all tasks independently.
  • Receives donated goods from donors by unloading vehicles and carrying in donated items.
  • Provides receipts to donors and maintains accurate donation records using a hand-held device.
  • Organizes donations into bins as they are brought in to assist with accurate processing.
  • Performs opening and closing tasks of the ADC.
  • Performs general housekeeping duties and keeping the work area neat and clean.
  • Assists truck drivers when loading and unloading donations.
  • Works other areas of the store as requested by the leadership team.

You will be hired as a Retail Associate - ADC Donor Door Greeter, however, you will be cross-trained and expected to learn and work all areas of the retail operation.
A part-time position averages 20-25 hours per week. Hours will fluctuate based on business needs (i.e., seasonal changes, donation volumes, etc.) Operating days will fluctuate based on store location. The Retail Associate - ADC Donor Door Greeter must be available to work any shifts Monday through Sunday.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
  • Average math skills.
  • Ability to use a hand-held electronic device.
  • Ability to lift up to 40lbs.
  • Prior experience working in a retail or customer service-related environment; preferred.
  • Warehouse experience, preferred.
