Department: Retail Operations
Work Location: 72nd and F
Employment Status: Full-Time
Pay range: $25.00
JOB SUMMARY
The CDL Driver will transport material to and from Goodwill locations using trucks, tractors, and trailers in a safe and efficient manner.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES amp; RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Transport loads to and from designated locations in a timely fashion
  • Occasionally load and unload trucks and trailers at assigned locations
  • Ensure trucks and trailers are kept clean and safe at all times
  • Maintain records, logs and inspection reports
  • Drive with courtesy to others and positively represent Goodwill to the public
  • Safely and efficiently operate Forklift as required
  • Responsible for supervising dock workers when they accompany driver on route
  • Complies with all State and Department of Transportation guidelines and Goodwill policies amp; procedures
  • Meet or exceed the attendance expectations for this position
  • Actively maintain a safe, healthy, and positive environment that promotes the physical and emotional well-being of employees, customers, and participants
  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Six (6) months experience driving a tractor trailer preferred
  • Class A Commercial Driver’s License required
  • Must be insurable
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
  • Must pass drug and alcohol testing and comply with DOT regulations
  • Forklift certification
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
  • Must have knowledge of metropolitan area streets and locations
  • Maintain a good driving record that meets our Insurance Company’s Guidelines
