Job description

Finished Goods Delivery Planning Manager

Position Summary

Based at the Woodruff, SC plant, the Finished Goods Delivery Planning Manager owns end-to-end delivery planning for North America — from sales order intake through final delivery at customer sites. The role coordinates cross-factory fulfillment, Woodruff receiving and outbound shipment, and delivery-risk tracking, and supports after-sales return and replacement logistics. Over time, it will grow into leadership of the Woodruff Finished Goods Delivery Center.

Key Responsibilities

  • Delivery Planning — Manage finished-goods delivery from order intake, production completion, and quality release through Woodruff receiving, shipment, and customer-site delivery.
  • Cross-Factory Coordination — Align with Woodruff, Gu’an, Hungary, and sister plants on production, shipment, arrival, and delivery status.
  • Receiving & Shipment — Track arrivals at Woodruff, inventory status, order matching, shipment readiness, and outbound delivery.
  • Customer Delivery — Partner with Sales, Customer Service, Logistics, and customers on schedules, receiving windows, priorities, and changes.
  • Risk Management — Identify and escalate production, quality-release, shipping, customs, inventory, and schedule risks.
  • Return & Replacement Support — Support After-Sales on whole-unit return and replacement by coordinating unit availability, shipment, and timing.
  • Inventory Monitoring — Track finished-goods, in-transit, and aging inventory, order matching, and capital occupation; report regularly and flag exceptions.
  • Delivery Center Build-Out — Help establish the Woodruff Delivery Center — processes, reporting, KPIs, and escalation mechanisms.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial or Mechanical Engineering, HVAC, Business, or a related field.
  • 5+ years in manufacturing planning, order fulfillment, finished-goods delivery, supply chain, logistics, or warehouse coordination.
  • Working knowledge of order tracking, production follow-up, quality release, warehousing, ocean freight, customs clearance, shipping, and customer delivery.
  • Proven cross-functional coordination across plants, logistics teams, warehouses, Sales, Customer Service, and customers.
  • Strong Excel and reporting skills; ERP, MRP, WMS, or TMS experience preferred.
  • Excellent English communication; Chinese proficiency is a plus.
  • Readiness to build processes and grow into Delivery Center leadership.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with HVAC, refrigeration, data-center cooling, industrial equipment, or complex mechanical products.
  • North America order fulfillment, U.S. plant operations, overseas-to-U.S. supply, or warehouse distribution.
  • Whole-unit replacement, return logistics, or after-sales delivery support.

How Success Is Measured

  • North America finished goods on-time delivery rate
  • Customer-site delivery achievement rate
  • Woodruff receiving and shipment timeliness
  • Delivery-risk closure timeliness
  • Return / replacement support timeliness
  • Inventory and in-transit report accuracy
  • Delivery Center build-out progress

Scope & Boundaries

  • Does not own production scheduling — each plant manages its own production planning and execution.
  • After-Sales leads return and replacement cases; this role supports delivery planning and shipment coordination.
  • Monitors inventory levels and capital occupation through reporting; does not make inventory-control decisions.
  • Will lead the Woodruff Finished Goods Delivery Center as it matures.
