Job description

The Casino Host will identify and encourage new guests while acknowledging and maintaining rapport with existing players.  The Casino Host’s primary objectives are to convert first time players to repeat visitors, minimize attrition of our high-end segment, retain existing player base at current or higher gaming levels as well as building and maintaining relationships with our players to ensure that Legends Bay Casino captures the largest share possible of their gaming activity.

Job Requirements:

  • Provide consistent, prompt, and courteous guest service.
  • Establish and maintain influential business relationships with the premium player base through timely and personal communication.
  • MC casino events, drawings, VIP events, parties and celebrate winners on the floor.
  • Ensure all guests receive their full comp worth value when requested and arrange their requests in a timely manner.
  • Proactively issue comps as appropriate after analysis of play, frequency, loss, and ADT.
  • Monitor activities and promotions of the competitive market.
  • Drive increased visitation through focused telemarketing efforts.
  • Be aware and knowledgeable of all Guest Development promotions and any current giveaways that are currently in progress and explain program to guests.
  • Maintain current knowledge of all events, promotions, and special functions, to provide guests with accurate information, handle special requests and ensure guests satisfaction.
  • Recruit new Players Club card members, explaining the benefits and privileges of using the Players Card.
  • Promote the benefits of Club membership and sell participation in special events, promotions and other marketing programs designed to attract, contain, and retain casino patrons.
  • Meet monthly quotas on new signups and reactivation of inactive patrons.
  • Identify and introduce new guests to team members as well as the members of the Table Games and Slot departments.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of two years Casino Marketing experience required.

Additional Requirements: 

  • Must be 21 years of age. 
  • Proficient in computer skills including Word, Excel.
  • Experience with Casino Marketplace Player Tracking system including an understanding of evaluating player theoretical worth.
  • Must have good math skills
  • Telemarketing experience preferred.
  • Awareness of marketing developments in the gaming industry.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, with variable overtime. 
  • Must be able to tolerate areas containing secondary smoke, high noise levels, bright lights and dust.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
