Job Description
JOB SUMMARY: This position is responsible for the success of a retail store by ensuring customer/ contributor service, developing sales, controlling expenses and supervising store personnel.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
  • Meet store sales goals and operate within budgetary guidelines
  • Oversee production and rotation of merchandise
  • Ensure quality of merchandise and proper pricing
  • Ensure cleanliness of sales floor and entire store
  • Provide excellent customer service and train employees in customer/ contributor service skills
  • Oversee training and development of store employees
  • Accountable for daily reports, payroll and daily sales reports
  • Punctual & dependable attendance
  • Abide by the policies and procedures as set forth by management
  • Reviews and is familiar with OK Goodwill safety policies, programs and procedures. Adheres to all safety rules, regulations and safety codes, and attends safety training sessions and necessary safety meetings.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Perform other duties and projects as required by management.
  • Attends trainings as required.

Qualifications
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Must be able to stand, twist, bend, kneel and reach for long periods of time (up to 8 hours a day).
  • Good finger dexterity and feeling; frequent repetitive motions; talking, hearing, and visual acuity.
  • Frequent lifting (up to 50 lbs).

WORKING CONDITIONS:
  • Retail store environment.
  • Work schedule may include days, evenings, weekends, holidays and occasional overtime, when approved by VP of Operations.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR CONSIDERATION:
  • High School degree or equivalent preferred.
  • 2 years in a retail setting preferred.
  • 1 years management experience
  • Maintains current certifications in First Aid and CPR.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good math skills and basic accounting.
  • Good interpersonal skills: able to work well with a wide range of people.
  • Good coaching skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Demonstrate dependability through good attendance and adherence to timelines and schedules.
  • Good follow through on projects and deliverables.
  • Good problem-solving skills.
