The Surgical Center at Good Samaritan is equipped with state-of-the-art technology and facilities designed to provide extensive outpatient and inpatient surgical services. • Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and obtain detailed medical histories to assess patients' conditions effectively.
• Order, collect, interpret, and evaluate laboratory and diagnostic tests to formulate patient care strategies.
• Prescribe medical therapies and recommend therapeutic interventions following established protocols while ensuring the highest standards of care.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement outcome-based treatment plans based on evidence-based medicine and best practice guidelines.
• Educate patients and their families about medical processes, illness management, nutritional guidance, and health promotion strategies.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of patients' treatment plans, outcomes, and consultations, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Administer care in various settings including inpatient services and emergent care, demonstrating adaptability and clinical expertise.
• Perform delegated invasive procedures within the competence scope defined by supervising physicians, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
• Respond to departmental needs by being flexible and available to provide patient care beyond regular schedule as required.

• A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program is required.
• Certification as a Physician Assistant and a valid state license are mandatory.
• A minimum of one year of experience in a relevant setting as a Physician Assistant is essential.
• Strong communication skills, critical thinking abilities, and effective decision-making are necessary for success in this role.
• Active listening, time management, and sound clinical judgment must be demonstrated in daily tasks.

• Experience in surgical settings or specialties related to cardiology is highly advantageous.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records systems and patient management software.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification should be obtained within 30 days of hire.

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 140,000 to USD 180,000, commensurate with experience.
