  • Problem Solving & Initiative: Demonstrate a proactive approach to problem-solving, showing initiative, creativity, and resilience in addressing client needs and process improvements.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Experience: 1-2 years of legal experience, preferably in estate planning or probate. Knowledge of Massachusetts probate and estate tax laws is preferred but not required.
  • Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in technology, including WealthCounsel or similar drafting program, Zoho CRM, Zoom, Google, Google Calendar, and Microsoft Office. The ability to adapt quickly to new systems and software is a must.
  • Client-Centered Approach: Strong “bedside manner” with clients, with the ability to build trust, address emotional and complex issues, and provide empathetic guidance.
  • Growth Mindset: A driven individual who is excited to learn, grow, and contribute to the success of the firm. Open to new challenges and dedicated to improving both personal and team performance.
  • Organized & Detail-Oriented: Strong organizational skills, prioritizing, with the ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and maintain a high level of attention to detail.
  • Excellent Communicator: Strong verbal and written communication skills, able to explain complex legal concepts clearly and professionally to clients, colleagues, and external partners.
  • You must be available 3 evenings a month to present at our community workshops and on our webinar platform.
Compensation & Benefits:
  • Competitive salary with performance-based bonuses
  • Health insurance
  • 401(k) plan with company match
  • Paid time off
  • Ongoing professional development and growth opportunities
  • Collaborative, supportive, and innovative team environment with mentorship from senior attorneys
  • Mentorship and Training: Mention that the new associate will receive mentorship from experienced attorneys and have opportunities for ongoing education on estate planning strategies, drafting documents, and interacting with clients.
