Bobby Jones Golf Course, located in Atlanta, Georgia, and managed by Bobby Jones Links, is hiring for Golf Shop Sales Associates. The historic Bobby Jones Golf Course became the home of golf in Georgia after a $32 million rebirth managed by Bobby Jones Links in 2018. It includes a revolutionary reversible golf course designed by Bob Cupp. It is home to the Georgia Golf Hall of Fame, The Georgia State Golf Association, The Georgia PGA Section, the Yates Himalayas Putting Course, Boone's upscale eatery, and instructional programs focused on juniors, beginners, and adaptive golf.
Responsibilities of Golf Shop Sales at Bobby Jones Golf Course include:
  • Ensuring the pro shop, inventory stock room, clubhouse, and food and beverage area's presentation and appearance is always clean, pleasing to the eye, and impeccable in its presentation.
  • Attending a monthly golf staff meeting that covers training, customer service, and progress since the prior month.
  • Ensuring all guests receive the highest level of service.
  • Touring the golf shop several times an hour to ensure it is operating according to Bobby Jones Golf Course standards.
  • Keeping the golf shop organized and stocked.
  • Assisting all golfers with their check-in when they arrive. Greet them with a smile and direct them to the golf course or practice range.
  • Anticipating the guests needs.
  • Assisting in set-up and operation of all tournaments and events.
  • Assisting the Golf Professional staff daily.

Required Skills
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and club point of sales systems.
  • Understanding of Club financials.
  • Evaluation of customer satisfaction and responsiveness.
  • Knowledge of shop inventory.
  • Attention to detail.
