Job Summary:
The Golf Services Attendant is key in creating a welcoming atmosphere for members and guests by providing excellent first impressions. This role involves greeting golfers at the bag drop area or cart room, ensuring smooth and efficient service throughout their visit.
Shifts:
*Shift times are subject to change.
Opening Shifts: 6:00 AM to 1:30 PM
Closing Shifts: 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM (times may vary seasonally)
Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the mission and uphold the core values of the Atlanta Athletic Club (AAC) through exceptional service and daily interactions.
  • Transport golf bags between the bag storage area, member vehicles, and golf carts before and after play.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times.
  • Prepare and stock golf carts with essential items, including towels, tees, coolers, and other supplies.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by greeting, assisting, and offering helpful information to members and guests.
  • Retrieve and return stray golf carts and push carts as needed.
  • Open clubhouse doors and warmly welcome members and guests upon arrival.
  • Assist with the daily setup, operation, and appearance of the bag room and cart staging areas.
  • Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned by managers or supervisors.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Ability to lift 25-35 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Proficient in driving and operating a golf cart
  • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Capable of building and maintaining positive relationships with members, guests, and team members

Requirements:
  • Valid driver's license needed to operate a golf cart
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Availability for at least two weekdays, one weekend day, and holidays
