Job Description
The base salary for this position is $26.69 hourly.
Under direction, operate motorized equipment and vehicles used on the Golf course and perform related tasks, as required. Experienced in all functions and requirements for the classification of Maintenance II and III.
  • Operate various mowers and power equipment to maintain fairways, roughs, putting greens, and other course areas.
  • Operate specialized equipment such as mechanical loaders, backhoe units, hydro-mulchers, and vertidrains.
  • Assist with lower classification tasks and sod laying on greens and tees.
  • Support irrigation system maintenance under supervision.
  • Work outdoors in various weather conditions, lifting up to 80 pounds and pushing/pulling equipment up to 100 pounds.
  • Possess knowledge of safe and efficient operation of maintenance equipment and landscaping techniques.
  • Communicate effectively in English with employees and guests.
  • Demonstrate ability to work in various physical positions and detect malfunctioning equipment.

Qualifications
Experience
  • Three (3) years turf and ornamental maintenance experience required.

Education
  • High School diploma or GED preferred but not required.
  • Must have a valid Hawaii State driver's license.
