Job description

Complete day to day duties of the golf staff including Valet and Car Wash, Practice Facility, Bag Storage and Finisher/Greeter positions. Assist in tournament preparation and set up for the golf services. Assist in the upkeep of the Golf Car fleet as well as Utility Vehicles (Range Equipment/People Movers/F&B Carts). Maintain a safe and clean working environment. Communicate any requests, problems, worries and ideas to the supervising staff.

  • Cart Staging – Stage golf carts for members and guest and provide utility carts in the valet and on the rear patio.
  • Bag Loading – Pull bags from storage and valet and load on carts for use on the course and practice facilities.
  • Valet Parking – Park cars. Deliver cars to and from the car wash and inspect the quality of the wash, write up charge slips. Install and remove transponders.
  • Shuttling – Shuttle members, guests and bags to and from the parking lot as well as practice facility and golf course.
  • Club Cleaning – Clean clubs coming from the course and practice area.
  • Practice Facility – Carry clubs, clean clubs, drive picker, pick up golf balls, clean golf balls, make pyramids, and replace pyramids.
  • Greeting – Greet Members and Guests as they arrive at the club, finish playing/practicing and leaving the club.
  • Employee may perform other related duties to meet the ongoing needs of the company as requested by the supervisor.
  • High School graduate or equivalent and/or College degree preferred.
  • Experience in the Golf/Service industry preferred.
  • Physically able to handle strenuous activities (lifting, reaching, pulling, squatting, standing, walking and running), a changing climate (Cold/Hot temperatures) and direct sunlight/rain fall for sustained periods.
  • Ability to follow oral and written directions.
