Position: Locker Room Attendant - Seasonal

Classification: Non-Exempt Hourly Seasonal

Department: Golf Pro Shop

Job Summary:

The Locker Room Attendant will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness, organization, and upkeep of the men's locker room and additional facilities, as well as assisting with member needs and maintenance tasks. The role includes inventory management, cleaning, maintenance duties, and providing excellent service to members.

Responsibilities:

  1. Keep the menโ€™s locker room stocked with essential supplies such as towels, soap, and shampoo.
  2. Regularly inventory all locker room items including first aid kits, to ensure appropriate levels are maintained.
  3. Scrub and clean lockers, showers, toilets, mirrors, and tables to maintain a clean and welcoming environment.
  4. Vacuum floors to ensure cleanliness and safety within the locker room area.
  5. Remove and dispose of garbage into designated dumpsters to maintain cleanliness and hygiene.
  6. Repair and replace member golf shoe spikes and polish and buff shoes to ensure they are well-maintained.
  7. Polish and maintain members' street shoes as requested to keep them in good condition.
  8. Clean, maintain, and stock the on-course and Turf Care Center exterior bathrooms to ensure they remain clean and well-stocked.
  9. Wash and maintain shower towels to ensure an adequate supply is available.
  10. Assist in washing the back patio and boat piers to ensure cleanliness and upkeep of outdoor areas.
  11. Assist golf professionals with various projects as needed.
  12. Assist the Building Maintenance Manager with assorted tasks to ensure the facility is well-maintained and functioning efficiently.
  13. Interact positively and cooperatively with members, the Board of Directors, visitors, co-workers, and Managers, ensuring a high level of customer service.
  14. Present a positive image of the Club by dressing appropriately for the position and adhering to the Club's dress code.
  15. Maintain a safe work environment by attending mandatory safety training sessions and following Club and OSHA safety requirements.
  16. Maintain satisfactory levels of daily attendance, initiative, and productivity, contributing to the overall success of the team.
  17. Perform any other related duties as assigned to ensure the smooth operation of the club.
Requirements:

Qualifications:

Education: Eighth grade education required.

Experience: On-the-job training is provided. Applicable experience preferred.

Requirements:

Physical Demands: Light lifting, reaching, bending and stooping. Ability to go up and down

stairs.
