Effective communication with the pro shop and grounds crew also helps ensure a safe and efficient workflow, especially during busy periods or special events.

What are golf pickers and what do they do?

Golf pickers, often called range pickers or golf ball retrievers, are workers responsible for collecting golf balls from driving ranges. They typically operate a specialized cart outfitted with a cage and rolling mechanism that scoops up balls scattered across the range. Their role ensures a steady supply of clean golf balls for golfers and helps maintain the safety and efficiency of the driving range. In addition to collecting balls, golf pickers may also perform minor maintenance or cleaning tasks around the range.
