Part-Time Golf Services Attendant (Cart Barn)

Augusta Country Club is a private club offering premier golf, tennis, fitness, and swimming facilities in Augusta, Georgia. We are currently seeking dependable, service-oriented individuals to join our Golf Operations team as Part-Time Golf Services Attendants.
This position is ideal for high school or college students seeking valuable customer service experience in a professional club environment. The Golf Services Attendant plays an important role in ensuring our members and guests enjoy a smooth and memorable golf experience.
Position Summary
The Golf Services Attendant works primarily in the cart barn and surrounding golf areas. This role focuses on assisting members with their golfing needs, maintaining golf carts and facilities, and ensuring all areas are clean, organized, and ready for daily play. Dependability, maturity, and attention to detail are essential.
Essential Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Assist members and guests with unloading, loading, and storing golf bags
  • Prepare, stage, and inspect golf carts prior to play, ensuring each cart is stocked with sand, towels, scorecards, pencils, and water
  • Clean and dry all golf carts at the end of each day
  • Maintain cleanliness of the cart barn, bag drop area, staging area, practice facilities, and golf shop exterior
  • Sweep restrooms and golf bag storage areas
  • Check all areas for trash and debris
  • Fold and organize towels from the laundry room
  • Hose off the golf car cleaning area and ensure drains remain clear
  • Monitor for and properly secure any unattended bags, clubs, or personal belongings
  • Demonstrate care and responsibility when handling members' property
  • Safely operate and work around equipment and machinery
