Facility Description

Located in Odessa, just northwest of Tampa, The Eagles Golf Club is one of the Tampa Bay area's premier public golf destinations. Situated within the gated Eagles residential community, the facility features two distinct 18-hole championship courses, the Forest Course and the Lakes Course, making it one of the few 36-hole daily-fee golf facilities in the region.

The club has built a powerful reputation for providing a private-club atmosphere while remaining open to the public. Since the 1990s, it has been recognized as a leading golf venue in the Tampa market, offering challenging layouts, extensive practice facilities, a clubhouse, dining options, tournaments, leagues, and event spaces.

The Forest Course emphasizes precision and shot making. At approximately 6,700 yards from the championship tees, it features tree-lined fairways, strategic water hazards, and a memorable island-style par-3 sixth hole. The course is known for rewarding accuracy over sheer distance.

The Lakes Course offers a more traditional Florida golf experience. Most recently, the club installed a brand-new state-of-the-art irrigation system in 2026. Stretching over 7,000 yards from the back tees, it incorporates numerous lakes, ponds, bunkers, and risk-reward opportunities that challenge longer hitters while still remaining playable for a wide range of golfers.

Across both courses, golfers encounter scenic landscapes featuring mature oak trees, conservation areas, and more than thirty lakes, ponds, and canals.   • Direct all maintenance activities for all components
  • Instruct and train equipment operators on the operation and care of mowing and other equipment
  • Supervise and participate in the operation and maintenance of pumps and irrigation/drainage systems
  • Provide vision for long-term capital improvements
  • Experience creating budgets and labor plans
  • Operate multiple types of equipment as needed
  • Direct all personnel management and evaluation

  • Maintain proper record keeping
  • Hold a Certified Pesticide Applicator’s License
  • Monitor inventory of fertilizer/pesticides, irrigation parts, safety apparel, and other related supplies
