PGA Program Manager will possess a strong understanding of the role of the PGA Professional within private clubs and the broader golf industry. Candidates should have prior golf industry experience and knowledge of current industry trends and member engagement. The Individual will understand the responsibilities and influence of PGA Professional and effectively communicate the value and benefits of club golf travel experiences.
The ability to build trusted relationships with PGA Professionals, club leaders and high-net-worth members/individuals regarding premium golf travel experiences.
Strong networking, relationship management, event engagement and consultative communication skills are essential to successfully grow partnerships and expand brand presence.
Premier Golf is seeking an entrepreneurial, strategic, and high-performing Program Manager to build, scale, and lead our flagship PGA Relationship & Travel Program. This pivotal business leader will serve as the primary architect of the PGA strategy, responsible for translating vision into operational reality.
The ideal candidate possesses strong relationships within the PGA network-with a particular emphasis on PGA Section leaders, officers, and local PGA Professionals-combined with exceptional business acumen. You will build comprehensive business plans, define operational standards (SOPs), recruit and direct a team of Regional PGA Relationship Consultants, and drive P&L growth. Reporting directly to Senior Leadership, you will own the end-to-end commercial and operational success of the program.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Leadership & Business Planning
  • Develop, execute, and refine a multi-year master business plan for the PGA Relationship & Travel Program, aligning with overall corporate revenue goals.
  • Establish clear KPIs, performance benchmarks, and financial targets (revenue, margin, lead generation, and partner retention).
  • Monitor market trends, competitive positioning, and customer feedback to continually adapt program offerings and maximize market share.
2. Industry Partnership & Section Engagement
  • Serve as the primary liaison and brand ambassador between Premier Golf, PGA Section leaders, Section Executive Directors, and key industry stakeholders.
  • Proactively build and cultivate trusted relationships across various PGA Sections, engaging Section officers and PGA Professionals at the regional level.
  • Design high-value partnership initiatives, Section-level engagement programs, and exclusive travel incentives tailored to PGA Professionals and their members.
3. Operational Excellence & Process Governance (SOPs)
  • Build, implement, and maintain comprehensive Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the entire program lifecycle, including lead generation, CRM tracking, booking workflows, customer service standards, and post-trip follow-up.
  • Collaborate with internal operations, marketing, and reservation teams to ensure seamless execution and exceptional client delivery.
  • Establish transparent reporting mechanisms to track team activity, conversion metrics, and financial performance for presentation to Senior Leadership.
4. Team Building, Talent Acquisition & Management
  • Architect the regional expansion strategy and lead the end-to-end recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and training of Regional PGA Relationship Consultants & Golf Travel Specialists.
  • Provide ongoing mentorship, daily coaching, and performance management to drive team engagement, accountability, and quota achievement.
  • Establish sales territories, set individual and team targets, and design competitive incentive programs that foster a high-performance culture.
5. Commercial Driving & Event Strategy
  • Oversee the planning and execution of marquee PGA engagement events, including Section tournaments, regional golf outings, and networking dinners..
  • Identify strategic upsell and cross-sell opportunities, expanding Premier Golf's brand visibility among high-net-worth golfers and member groups.
Qualifications & Required Experience:
Professional Experience
  • Industry Background: 5-7 years of experience within the golf industry.
  • PGA Network & Section Relationships: Strong, active relationships within the PGA ecosystem, specifically with PGA Section leaders, PGA Section Executive Directors, and regional PGA Professionals. PGA Membership (Class A) or deep PGA industry involvement is highly desirable.
  • Business Leadership: Demonstrated success in building business plans from the ground up, establishing SOPs, managing P&L components, and driving commercial growth.
  • Team Management: Minimum 3+ years of direct team leadership experience, with a proven ability to recruit, mentor, and manage high-performing sales or relationship teams.
